New Roof by Salem Roofing
Roof in need of repair

Why is a Roof Inspector Preferred over a Home Inspector?

Home inspectors are trained in overall home evaluation, not just roof inspection but all areas of the home. This is done to pinpoint problems before they need replacement or major repairs.

A Roof inspector is extensively trained in roof issues before they become severe enough to require roof replacement. Training includes observation of roof damage from weather, flying objects, animals or man-made.

Physical roof inspection also allows for signs of weathering, deterioration, and mildew.

In addition, pipe flashings, ridge vents, skylight flashings, dormers, valleys and other areas which show signs of leakage are detected.

Attic inspections are included to spot moisture from roof related issues. An estimated lifespan remining on the roof a be provided to allow for planning.

Commercial Roofing

We offer roof insurance maintenance plans for commercial roofs including warehouses, storefronts and office buildings.

Salem Roofing, Inc. provides condominium maintenance plans and will work with your management company and assist with the evaluation of the roofs, establishing a grade report, and a timeline for work to be done based on the roofs needing replacement first.

We provide roof surveys, and present to the board, if necessary.
